Alison Oatman grew up in New York City. She attended Wellesley College and N.Y.U., where she majored in Italian Language and Literature. She obtained her M.A. in Medieval Studies at Columbia University.
Two of her plays, Lionel and Saskia and The Novelist, were read at the Geraldine Page Salon. She enjoys reading, Zumba, going to museums, and hanging out with an extraordinary Sheltie named Phoebe.
